Children’s Courses

£100 per course

April 15th and 16th from 10am to 12pm.

For children aged 8+, this fun and engaging block of two back to back sessions is perfect for children looking to learn how to make on the potters wheel.

Time to relax and be creative, learn new skills, encourage fine motor skills, focusing your attention. Meet other people and make in this creative and calm pottery studio. Children must be able to attend all three sessions.

The first session will be dedicated to learning how to prepare, centre and manipulate the clay on the potters wheel, aiming to make cylinders, bowls and mugs. On your last session you will then learn how to turn and finish your pieces ready for firing.

At the end of your course you will pick a glaze for your finished pieces, these will then be fired and glazed and once ready for collection you will be sent an email to come and collect your work. Please be aware this process or firing and glazing your work can take up 4 weeks.
