NOTES ON BOOKING A BLOCK OF 6 CLASSES
To book a block of 6 classes you have to book on for all the dates you will be attending. You can easily do this by selecting your start date and time and then SELECT THE RECURRING OPTION from the drop down menu and change to have the date reoccur 6 times. Then select ‘see availability’ and then add the appointments. The course is structured to be taken consecutively with the skills you learn being developed and expanded upon at each lesson.
Please be aware that some weeks are blocked off for half terms or intensive courses and you might be unable to book these weeks, although we try to schedule courses within the school term dates.

6 Week Ongoing and Improving Pottery Course
£300
This 2.5 hour Wednesday morning (10am), afternoon (1:30pm) is for ongoing potters who have already taken a beginners class at a recognised college or pottery and is bookable in blocks of 6 classes.
This allows you to choose when and how many blocks of 6 classes you would like to book on for. You will develop your skills in more depth and learn in a direction and technique of your choice with tutor demonstrations and guidance. You can hand build or throw on the wheel. Classes are once a week for 2.5 hours in regular small groups of 6-8. This course also includes specialist technique projects & tutors with different skills and includes instruction on more advanced glaze techniques. You pay one fee for the clay, glaze and firing at the leatherhard stage. The current amount is displayed in the studio is per kilo includes the bisque firing, the glazes and 2nd firing. Occasionally a guest potter may be invited to come and teach a workshop on a specific technique. You will also learn essential pottery studio Health and Safety. Please read the Terms and Conditions in the Classes drop down menu, you will be asked to agree when you make your booking.
The upcoming 6 week blocks are as follows -
Start Date: September 6th - End Date: October 11th 2023
Start Date: November 1st - End Date: December 6th 2023 (Please note the afternoon classes will start at 2pm instead of 1:30pm from this cycle onwards).
Start Date: January 10th - End Date: February 7th 2024 (This block of classes is only 5 weeks long so please only book on for 5 classes)
We are also running summer drop in classes for existing ongoing pupils. These are bookable for Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10am and 1:30pm for two and a half hours from 25th of July till the 30th of August.
